Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our live-culture ferments.
Do your pickles need to be refrigerated upon arrival?
Yes. Because our products are live-culture, raw, and unpasteurized, they must be kept refrigerated to maintain their crunch and slow down the fermentation process.
How long do your fermented products stay fresh?
When kept refrigerated, our pickles, kraut, and kimchi typically have a shelf life of 6 to 9 months. The 'Best By' date is printed on every pouch for your convenience.
How do you ship your items to ensure they stay cool?
We ship our ferments in insulated liners with cold packs. While the packs may thaw during transit, the salt brine acts as a natural preservative to keep the products safe until they reach your fridge.
Are your products vinegar-based or brine-based?
Our products are traditional lactic acid ferments made with a simple salt brine. We never use vinegar, heat, or pasteurization, ensuring you get the maximum probiotic benefits.
What is your return policy for food items?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. However, if your order arrives damaged or if there is an issue with your delivery, please contact our support team within 48 hours for a replacement or refund.
Is the brine drinkable?
Absolutely! Our 'Pickle Juice' is packed with electrolytes and probiotics. Many of our customers drink it straight, add it to cocktails, or use it as a base for salad dressings.
